GTABS’ Work Instrumental in the Resumption of Brightline’s Miami to West Palm Beach Service

ATLANTA, Ga – July 2, 2021 – Brightline High Speed Rail Project officials recently announced
it is resuming service in the fourth quarter of this year, and with details being released this
month. A Brightline spokesperson told the South Florida Business Journal that an
announcement with details of plans to resume train service between Miami and West Palm
Beach would be made later in July 2021.

GTABS, Inc. performed system test engineering, cut-in support, and other essential
engineering functions, helping to facilitate Miami to West Palm Beach connection.
In addition to stations in Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach, at least two new stations
will soon be added. Construction is underway on new Brightline stations in both Aventura
and Boca Raton, the company said.
